We were fortunate enough to be able to run away from the desert and spend a whole month with my folks on Maple Lake in Minnesota, which is quite a blessing to us living in triple digit heat. (Thanks, Mom and Dad, for your patience, generosity, and good humor) The boys and I truly love being up there and Michael was even able to spend 10 days with us up there as well. Michael was a good sport about attending my 20 year class reunion (see other blog for those photos: http://chsclassof89.blogspot.com )
The boys enjoyed fishing, boating, tubing, tractor riding, lawn mower riding, rhino riding, swimming, running, climbing, etc. We all slept good at night with all that outdoor activity. We got to spend good quality time with Grandpa, Grandma, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, 2nd Cousins, and Friends...and despite what Grandma and Grandpa might tell you, the month flew by quite quickly.
