Great Grandma Jackie is here in town visiting with Grandpa Clarence. We love when she comes to visit...she always has good stories! This is a 4 generation photo with Michael, our sons, his father, and grandmother.

I scream, You scream...

What exactly do you think these 2 are contemplating right now?

Feeding the ducks

We spent an afternoon at Desert Breeze Park feeding the ducks and playing on the playground. It was a beautiful day right before it got HOT!!!

1st Swimming Day in our backyard 2008

May 8th...first day in the chilly pool!

Whoa! Is that a smile on Ryan's face? He took a
timeout from tantrum throwing.

So happy together...

What's up, Mom?

This is the last week of preschool for Ethan at Ray of Light Christian Preschool. He's really going to miss spending so much time with his friends, but we hope to have playdates this summer. He will start Pre-K at Bright Beginnings School in the Fall. (July 28th) We have a busy summer planned for the boys. There's summer camp at Desert Sun school for 2 weeks, Vacation Bible School, swimming lessons, movies each week at Harkins Theaters, and a trip to Minnesota! Perhaps we'll get in some other visits to California to see friends and family. Stay tuned!

Recent Favorite Shots...

This is one of my faves of Ethan when he turned 4 in February.

Ethan has developed quite an attitude. For those of
you who have experienced it, I'm sorry.

There it is again. That chip on his shoulder.

The original "Crabby Crab" himself. Lounging in the water in Florida.

Wait...is that a SMILE on his face? Quick, grab a camera!

Defining Moments...

Ethan's love of swinging is clear. We spend hours each week in the backyard, and thankfully, he's getting better at "pumping".

Ryan is in pajamas 90% of the time. He's most comfortable in them and loves to practice his skills in dressing and undressing. Thankfully, his Godmother Stephanie keeps him occupied with many new varieties of pj's.

It's all about "things with wheels". Their favorite vehicles are usually tucked RIGHT NEXT to their beds at night, so as not to lose any precious playtime with them.

This is a shot that Michael took outside the front of his grandmother's home in Honolulu. I love Birds of Paridise flowers and thought the colors were great...there's a great view of Diamond Head in the background.
